We are looking for a Qualified Instructor to deliver Oil & Gas Fire Fighting and / or Oil & Gas/ Aviation Survival training courses accredited by international approval bodies. The successful candidates will be responsible in the support & delivery of the training delivery department at ISTC Malta. He / She will join the current team of like-minded firefighting & survival professionals, who are backed up by extensive hands-on experience across all sectors.

The Role

• Setting high standards of excellence with regards to reaching program objectives, training delivery and supporting safe, meaningful, high quality training programs in accordance with approving bodies accreditations:
• Relevant course planning, development and maintenance.
• Participate in and deliver training courses, both on and off-site with the ability to conduct relevant assessments in line with requirements.
• Ensure the preparation of all material required for training and that such is received by respective parties involved.
• Respond to enquiries for the purpose of providing information and/or direction as may be required by students or clients.
• Monitor students for the purpose of maintaining discipline and order and / or ensuring their safety:
• Assist the Manager and other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

The Requirements

Applicants must be able to provide documented evidence of previous experience and qualifications, be fluent in English and must hold a recognised assessor qualification. STCW and OPITO knowledge will be considered as an asset.
