Cabin Crew Fire Fighting
This course is designed to provide cabin crews with the knowledge and sufficient skill sets to be able to understand how to handle Fire situations whether in flight or taxiing which may arise and assess how to take remedial action to try and obtain safe conditions while firefighting and control conditions to safely tackle dangerous fire-related incidents to the best industry standard.
Aims & Objectives: This course aims to train cabin crew in the principles of firefighting, with practical demonstrations and exercises enabling the administration of basic firefighting support with on-call advice, and communications with the relevant services on the ground.

On completion of the course, delegates will have a working knowledge of:
- Chemistry of fire.
- Classification of fires.
- Types and uses of portable fire extinguishers.
- Causes of fire.
- Fire prevention.
- Lithium batteries and containment.
Practical Training will include:
- Demonstration of fire Behaviour in a confined space.
- Hands-on exercises with a simulated Halon Extinguisher to deal with a small Class A fire in an enclosed area.
- Orientation training, using a smoke hood in a smoke-filled compartment.
- Movement in smoke and control of evacuations.
