Cabin Crew Wet Ditching
This course is designed to provide cabin crews with the knowledge and sufficient skill sets to be able to understand how to safely carry out the correct procedure in a simulated ditching over water, evacuation procedures and best industry practices.
Aims & Objectives: This course aims to train cabin crew in the principles of evacuation, into the water with practical demonstrations and exercises enabling the administration of basic evacuation support with on-call advice, and communications with other crew and clients while aiding and supporting a simulated aircraft evacuation on water.

On completion of the course, delegates will have a working knowledge of:
Theoretical:
- Precautions to take when using a Liferaft
- Operations of the Life Raft
- Materials to take from the Aircraft before exiting
- Survival Precautions
Practical:
- Correctly don a Lifejacket
- Jump into a Swimming Pool and Swim 2 circuits
- Tow a partner from one side of the pool to the other
- Inflate/Observe inflation of a Liferaft
- Get into a Liferaft in the water
- Assist a partner in getting into a Liferaft
