NFPA 1001 FIREFIGHTER I & II
This training program is for persons seeking to become professional emergency responders. The course curriculum is in accordance with the NFPA 1001 (2019 Edition), Fire Fighter I & II (Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications) focusing on knowledge and skills a professional emergency responder requires. The Fire Fighter I/II course consists of a combination of classroom study, drill field practice, and training evolutions that will prepare the fire fighter to perform most fire ground functions under the supervision of an officer or experienced firefighter. This course is IFSAC accredited, providing internationally recognized certification for emergency response professionals. Delegates must undergo examination and skills evaluation, which if completed successfully will result in IFSAC Certification.

Pre-Requisite Training
NFPA 470 Awareness & Operation by the end of the course.
Practical: Experiential learning and demonstration of the range of competencies required by a qualified firefighter
Assessment: Continuous performance assessment, followed by debriefing of command exercises, carried out by senior instructional staff.
